Job Title: Front Desk Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
Sit at the front deskWelcome guests and assist with conference roomProvide administrative support to the National Government Sector, specifically the Sciences and Civilian Sales Teams, as well as to the Washington DC office.Promptly coordinate daily requests from the sales teams including meetings and events, purchase requests, travel arrangements, and registrations for conferences and training classes.Assist in ensuring the office is running smoothly by assisting with onsite vendor service visits for office equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3 years of experience with administrative work involving analysis and recommendations that led to the improvement of administrative procedures, practices, or programs.Demonstrated ability to work in a complex department, maintain large databases of information, and interpret policies and guidelines.Motivation and passion for getting work done in a consistent and thoughtful way, both independently and collaboratively.Remarkable ability to organize work and meet deadlines while faced with many interruptions and competing priorities.Refined written and verbal communication skills that provide clear and concise information which can be used in reports and formal correspondence.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, comfort with a variety of online systems, and a minimum typing speed of 55 wpm.Testing Requirements:
Outlook 70%Excel 70%Word 70%Comprehension (looking for a 6 out of 8 at the least)Typing 45 with adjustmentRecommended Qualifications:
Experience supporting senior level executives in an administrative support role.Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Salesforce.com.High school diploma.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vienna, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
