Job Description

The Sanitation Worker will play a crucial role within the sanitation department, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of machinery and production areas. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to disassemble and reassemble machine parts for thorough cleaning.

Experience with lock out tag out procedures is highly preferred.

Candidates must be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and at heights, including on ladders.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude and experience in disassembling and reassembling machinery.Experience with lock out tag out procedures.Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments.Experience in food production or manufacturing settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with powered industrial trucks and valid certification.Comprehensive knowledge of dry-cleaning procedures.Attention to detail and safety for self and others.Ability to foster a team atmosphere and communicate effectively.

This role requires working in a loud, GMP-compliant environment where hair and beard nets, along with other GMP practices, are mandatory.

The sanitation department operates across various shifts, including weekendss.

Employees will engage in physically demanding tasks, often in warm, moist conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $20.11/hr.
