Job Description:

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for developing competitive quotations and supporting the commercial team by providing accurate pricing, margin analysis, and market insights. The role plays a key part in increasing profitability and supporting business growth within the freight forwarding division.

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare and issue accurate and competitive quotes for air freight services.

- Analyze costs from airlines companies to build optimal rate structures.

- Maintain updated rate sheets, tariffs, surcharges, validity periods, and carrier contracts.

- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to ensure coherent pricing strategies.

- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers when necessary.

- Monitor market trends, seasonal impacts, and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning.

- Ensure compliance with internal margin policies and profitability targets.

- Support RFI/RFQ/RFP processes for key clients, preparing detailed pricing proposals.

Requirements :

- Experience in a freight forwarding company

- Strong understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, supply chain dynamics, and carrier pricing structures.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing systems (CargoWise, Cargospot, rate management tools).

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

- English proficiency (written and spoken).
