Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06:30am to 05:00pm)Pick product from the stockroom locations using light to pick systemPlace products in proper shipping containers using designated proceduresPlace enclosed orders on conveyor belt to be scanned & assigned to the designated shipping providerCompletes filling orders that have been staged coming from the warehousePlace completed orders on pallets & moves pallets to a freight scanning station for larger ordersAssemble shipping containers by method of stapling and/or tapingValidate Wal-mart, TSA, UPS & FedEx orders & product using the PC based program with handheld bar code scanner device to verify items & quantities are correctRetrieve or communicate to order pickers for retrieval of any missing or miss-picked productPlace shipping label on shipping container according to customer requirementsPrepare containers for shipment using proper proceduresOperate the Clipper station to manifest UPS or FedEx packagesOrder additional finished goods from the warehouse & stocks them in the proper locationsProcess returned goods. Transact items from put-away to stockroom location, physically move the items to the proper locationsOther duties as assigned by team lead and/or the managerFreight Order Processor Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferredBasic math skills requiredMust be proficient in English language comprehensionFollow basic verbal or written instructionsBe able to maintain shipping & stockroom location recordsHeavy lifting - 50 lbsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
