Job Title: Freight Audit Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst/ Supply Chain Analyst to ensure the accuracy and completeness of freight invoices. This role involves close collaboration with the Transportation team and carriers to address discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliations and validations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to respond promptly to inquiries.

ResponsibilitiesReview freight invoices for accuracy and completeness.Follow up with carriers on any issues and discrepancies.Collaborate with the Transportation team on invoice-related issues.Conduct month-end activities and reconciliations.Validate and update freight activities to ensure accurate invoicing.Respond within one business day to carrier inquiries to resolve billing issues.Prepare accurate and timely carrier accruals that reconcile with carrier reconciliations monthly.Conduct period-end carrier reconciliations to ensure accuracy and address carrier statement aging issues.Perform ad hoc requests as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in freight audit, freight payment, and freight invoice processes.Strong knowledge of accounts payable, invoicing, and payments.Understanding of transportation industry terminology.Advanced skills in Excel, including pivots, H lookup, V lookup, formulas, and data manipulation.Experience with large ERP systems, logistics, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.Audit experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Math, Stats, or Engineering.Logistics or supply chain background.Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
