Job Description

This is a project based / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 10 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. 

In this position, you will work with and supports all productions across the NBC Sports portfolio.

Responsibilities

Schedule Studio/Remote Operations personnelWork with managers and coordinators to input scheduling data into various scheduling systems for crewing and payroll planningReviewing and comparing reports and schedulesCreate and update various documents for planning long term schedulesCoordinate facilities with staff and freelancer manpowerHiring point person for Studio operations freelancersWork closely with the Manpower scheduling group on projects and schedules which will also include exposure to productionEnsure compliance with all applicable company policiesPerform other related duties as needed

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on proficiency with Excel

Desired Characteristics:

Minimum of two (2+) years of relevant experienceExperience with Scheduling and Timekeeping systemsDemonstrated ability to navigate new systems and software is a plusInterest in Sports and knowledge of seasons/events (NBA, MLB, Football, College Sports etc.)Understanding of the roles of technical crew and union rulesSolid work ethic, positive attitude with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAbility to handle sensitive and, at times, difficult situations with confidence and easeHigh level of responsiveness and follow-throughCustomer service experienceDemonstrated ability to work effectively with a teamPossess a high level of initiativeExceptional oral and written communication skillsDetail and deadline orientedExtremely organized and prepared

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to work in Stamford, CTWillingness to work extended hours, weekends and holidays based on business needsFlexibility to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short noticeMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesMust be 18 years or older

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
