Job Description
Seeking a Superintendent to relocate to Western Colorado for a long term opportunity with an established General Contractor. You will supervise the self-perform framing and siding activities on large projects, with budgets ranging from $50MM to $150MM for projects and $5MM to $20MM for framing and siding. Responsible for mobilization, project set-up, panel design coordination, deliveries, logistics, general project organization, safety management, staffing, quality control, scheduling, documentation, punch lists, inventory, demobilization, and project closeout. The goal is to complete the work on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the wood framing and siding process, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.Manage a crew of framers and siders, coordinate material and panel delivery, and verify adherence to contract documents and building codes.Perform framing and building layout and verify field dimensions.Utilize equipment and tools required for framing and siding.Plan, develop, implement, oversee, and verify framing and siding sequence of work.Oversee and monitor project progress against milestone schedules and identify potential schedule delays.Develop and manage site logistics and material/equipment deliveries.Inspect framing and siding work daily to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.Verify proper installation of framing and siding products.Conduct safety meetings and daily morning huddles to review crew assignments, safety, schedule, and quality tasks.Communicate effectively with all project members, including managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.Prepare for and attend weekly coordination meetings.Resolve conflicts within the crew and address performance issues.Ensure the quality program, including proper installation, backout, punch lists, and general quality control.Manage and conduct pre-planning meetings, first installation inspections, and quality control inspections.Handle project documentation, including submittal and shop drawing reviews, RFIs, daily reports, safety inspections, and schedule updates.Essential SkillsTen years of building construction experience.Five years of carpentry experience.Knowledge of framing and siding scopes of work, methods, and techniques.Ability to read, understand, and follow construction documents, drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.Experience with project scheduling and framing crew management.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFirst Aid/CPR certification.Aerial Lift/Scissor Lift/Forklift certification.Competent Person certification in Scaffolding and Fall Protection.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
