FPGA Design/Verification Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design/Verification Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ASIC FPGA development on RD programs, focusing primarily on verification. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in high-speed digital design and communication, system-on-chip (SoC) platforms, and digital signal processing (DSP). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create leading-edge products and contribute to the design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing of complex high-speed products.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and integrate digital signal processing (DSP) and high-speed digital design on FPGA platforms.Work with COTS-based control platforms and embedded processors on FPGA platforms.Automate and develop scripts to enhance FPGA development efforts.Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog, Digital Circuit designers, and ASIC/FPGA engineers.Provide support and technical direction to junior engineers.Support verification activities required for DO-254 compliance, including requirement analysis, test development, execution, simulation, coverage analysis, and backannotation of results.Ensure FPGA design meets stringent DO-254 Level A standards by working closely with design, systems, and certification teams.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and Synopsys Synplify.Proficiency in SystemVerilog.Experience with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools.Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups and test equipment such as JTAG and logic analyzers.Prior involvement in FAA or EASA certification audits.Experience with version control systems and configuration management.Proficiency in UVM.BS degree with 9-15 years of experience or MS degree with 7-13 years of experience.Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Owego, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
