You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

You will:
+ Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
+ Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
+ Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
+ Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
+ Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers

**More about this role**
**What you need to know about this position:**
You will:
· Work across functions & markets to collate inputs and prepare the value chain (P&L) required for NPDs (New Product Development) within deadlines
· Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
· Manage month end reporting of performance versus rolling forecast, plan and prior year, with focus on marketing and gross to net spend (discounts & allowances). Prepare journal entries related to trade funds.
· Prepare monthly cash flow analysis report and submit commentary on balance sheet accounts
· Help the Finance lead and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that facilitate business strategy changes and decisions
· Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and digitalization
· Collate information from the BU to build and analyze the Rolling Forecast by market and category
· Champion Digital Marketing dashboard, SAP analytics cloud and Power BI to share financial data and insights for decision making
· Drive the 9-box exercise, analyzing the absolute Net Revenue generated per SKU and its profitability to ensure a focused portfolio
· Business partner to deliver the SKU rationalization exercise for RoA
· Support marketing with financial analyses and budget tracking
· Review GTN claims from distributors and ensure all supporting documentation is received before submitting them for processing and adding them to the tracker
· Create the trade agreements in SAP
· Compute duties on royalties in Kenya and submit approved calculation to Kenya Revenue Authority
· Influence and perform financial modelling for impact of currency devaluation and pricing required to cover inflation and commodity impacts
· Support master data team with loading of new prices for products and hierarchy management
· Support the business in complying with regulatory & environmental requirements and updating the value chains to reflect any changes
· Support the RoA (Rest of Africa) GM and BU FD as required
· Support with audits
· Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local category finance pipeline

**Education / Certifications:**
· University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with CIMA or CA(SA) Qualification or working towards the qualification
· 5 – 7 years in a similar role within FMCG or Manufacturing Environment
**Job specific requirements:**
· Should ideally have worked for a multinational company
· Strong understanding of value chains (from Retail Selling Price to MDLZ Gross Margin)
· Proficient Excel / Power BI skills
· SAP and Hyperion experience advantageous·
· Process Management
