The FP&A Manager is responsible for managing the annual budgeting process, presenting budget versus actual analysis, preparing product line profitability and margin analysis, and preparing the weekly cash flow model for banking purposes.
ResponsibilitiesManage the budgeting process.Prepare and present financial results, including actual versus budget and last year analysis.Assist with the forecasting process.Manage the credit and cash collection process.Partner with commercial and operations teams to develop effective financial metrics.Assist with financial and tax audits.Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations.Support capital expenditure return on investment analysis and tracking.Prepare company consolidations of actual and forecast results.Manage the intercompany process.Prepare weekly cash forecasts for bank reporting.Prepare monthly financial reporting for the bank.Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of basic accounting procedures.Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).Awareness of business trends.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Proficiency with general ledger and consolidation software.Advanced MS Excel skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & QualificationsB.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Five or more years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.FP&A and cost accounting experience preferred.
Work Environment
The position is fully onsite, operating from 8am-5pm in Tecumseh, Michigan. The role requires less than 10% travel and is a contractual position expected to last between 3 to 6 months. Immediate availability is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr.
