Job Title: FP&A Analyst
**MUST LIVE NEAR TECUMSEH, MI
Job Description
As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in working capital analysis and presenting budget versus actual analysis. You will also assist in managing Accounts Receivable and Cash Management, work directly with controllers on Inventory Management and working capital forecasting, and analyze critical accounts for proper reconciliation support and forecasting.
Responsibilities
Conduct financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and monthly reporting.Assist with the month-end close process, including preparation of various journal entries and account reviews.Participate in the working capital budgeting process.Prepare financial results, including actual versus budget and last year analysis.Support the credit and cash collection process.Develop effective financial metrics.Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with accounts payable review with Senior Management.Automate processes wherever possible.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of accounting principles.Experience in general ledger accounting.Ability to collaborate with commercial, operations, supply chain, and other colleagues outside the finance department.Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.Experience with ERP systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.Prior exposure to FP&A and general ledger accounting (3-5 years).Advanced MS Excel skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Awareness of business trends.Familiarity with financial accounting statements and general ledger and consolidation software.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tecumseh, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
