FP&A Analyst

Job Description
The FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting with working capital analysis, presenting budget versus actual analysis, and managing Accounts Receivable and Cash Management. This position involves direct collaboration with controllers on Inventory Management and working capital forecasting, as well as analyzing critical accounts for proper reconciliation support and forecasting.
Responsibilities
Conduct financial planning and analysis, budgeting, monthly reporting, and assist with month-end close process.Prepare various journal entries and account reviews.Assist with working capital budgeting process.Prepare financial results, including actual vs. budget and last year analysis.Support the credit and cash collection process.Develop effective financial metrics.Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with accounts payable review with senior management.Automate processes wherever possible.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Strong analytical skills combined with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.Prior FP&A and general ledger accounting experience (3-5 years).Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Qualifications
Awareness of business trends.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Proficiency in general ledger and consolidation software.Advanced MS Excel skills.High accuracy and attention to detail.Work Environment
The position is fully onsite, operating from 8am to 5pm in Tecumseh, within an office/manufacturing environment. T
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tecumseh, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
