**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to develop valuable skills within the foundry industry. **Responsibilities** + Remove castings from the shaker belt. + Use the de-core machine or handheld machine to knock out cores as necessary. + Keep the cooling belt continuously supplied with castings. + Ensure gating/sprues stay with castings on the cooling belt. + Maintain a clean work area, free from sand pile-up. + Dispose of core sand in the outside dumpster using wheelbarrows. + Properly clock in and out of the Shop Floor Manager system. + Perform other related duties as required or requested. + Carry out all duties and responsibilities in full accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Safety-oriented mindset. + Prior manufacturing experience. + Ability to stand for the entire shift. + Ability to lift up to 75lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor experience. + Foundry and metalworking knowledge. + Inspection skills. **Why Work Here?** Experience a family-oriented environment that offers growth opportunities and a supportive team culture. Expect a loud, dusty, and dirty setting with various equipment and machine operations. The team consists of 10-15 foundry laborers. Dress code includes steel-toed boots/shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, jeans, and a T-shirt.
