Our client, a leading organization in the health and wellness industry, is seeking a dedicated Formulator to join their team. As a Formulator, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting formulation and supply chain optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Formulator
**Location:** Valencia, CA
**Pay Range: $45/hr**
**Shift: 8am - 5 pm M-F**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage a portfolio of raw materials and support formulation development across various dosage forms.
+ Run and monitor bench top, pilot, and manufacturing scale-up batches, ensuring quality and consistency.
+ Provide technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful technology transfer and process development.
+ Leverage data analysis to identify risks, optimize formulations, and improve product reliability.
+ Create and update batch records, raw material specifications, SOPs, and technical reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of two years of industry formulation development experience in supplement, pharmaceutical, or functional foods.
+ Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field.
+ Strong knowledge of solid dosage forms, formulation techniques, and scale-up processes.
+ Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and technical documentation.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
