**Job Title: Forklift/Warehouse Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a member of the B Shift Backshop, where you will play a critical role in maintaining operations in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for running polishing machines, performing essential tests, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing and shipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Run ID/OD polishers to ensure product quality and consistency.
+ Perform 'Air Underwater Hydro Testing' to verify product integrity.
+ Operate or learn to operate forklifts efficiently and safely.
+ Print customer orders according to scheduled times and dates.
+ Pick and pack customer orders to meet specific requirements.
+ Label packages accurately for customer identification.
+ Stage and consolidate shipments when applicable for streamlined delivery.
+ Conduct finished goods inventory cycle counts regularly.
+ Replenish inventory in storage racks for optimal stock levels.
+ Assist shipment loaders to facilitate smooth operations.
+ Become forklift certified and operate forklifts in a safe manner.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor and warehouse production experience.
+ Order picking proficiency.
+ Forklift operating skills.
+ 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
+ Experience with RF scanners and material handling.
+ Sit-down forklift operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift certification (can be acquired on the job).
+ Experience in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

**Work Environment**
This position operates on the B shift, Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 5am. You will join a team of roughly 100 employees working across four shifts in a non-union shop known for its safety and friendliness. Training may take 3-6 months to complete, and the environment includes a $2 premium for working the B shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
