Ready to move beyond basic warehouse work? We're seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to manage the heavy material flow for a major building products manufacturer in Columbia, SC.

THE CRITICAL ROLE: OPERATING INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT

You will be a key driver in our production chain, primarily operating a heavy-duty sit-down forklift (like a Taylor or similar industrial unit, 15,000+ lb. capacity) handling large, finished goods.

Skilled Operation: Safe and proficient operation of industrial lift trucks to efficiently move, relocate, and accurately stack heavy finished product.

Production Support: Transporting materials from the indoor manufacturing floor to the exterior storage yard and accurately staging products for shipping, including loading/offloading flatbed trailers.

Compliance & Maintenance: Performing mandatory daily equipment inspections and routine operator maintenance; strictly adhering to all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.

Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate material records using an RF scanner or WMS.
