Forklift Operator - (Stand-up)

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and sterilization industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Material Handling Department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and reliability which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Operator - (Stand-up)
**Location:** Covington, GA
**Shift:** 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
**What's the Job?**
+ Unload trailers and build loads for sterilization processes
+ Use pallet patterns to hand stack boxes onto pallets, verifying quantities and catalog numbers
+ Drive a stand-up forklift to locate and store pallets in designated racks
+ Complete inventory transactions using IBM Data Collection scanners and JD Edwards system
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area following quality and safety standards
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 2-3 years of experience operating material handling equipment, especially forklifts
+ Preferred experience with stand-up forklifts
+ Ability to verify product details such as lot numbers and expiration dates
+ Strong attention to safety procedures and lifting techniques
