Job Title: Forklift Operator - Day

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The successful candidate will utilize RF scan guns for order picking and operate various forklifts. This position involves a significant amount of forklift operation, as well as loading and unloading trailers, case picks, bulk picks, and performing heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Operate one of the following: reach forklift, standup forklift, sit-down forklift, and power palletUtilize RF scanning equipment for order pickingLoad and unload trailers efficientlyPerform case picking and bulk picking tasksEngage in heavy lifting as needed

Work Environment

The work environment is a spacious with wide aisles, focused on safety and transparency. The facility is divided into 70% bulk storage (full pallets) and 30% case picking. Employees typically start with case picking to familiarize themselves with the products before moving into receiving and bulk operations. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the team consists of approximately 10 warehouse staff. Note that there is no transit system available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky View County, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
