ResponsibilitiesLoad inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort freight according to size and destination.Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing processes.Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock.Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.Essential SkillsForklift experience is required.Packing, Inventory, Production, Loading, Material handling, Pallet jack operation.Ability to lift repetitively and load/unload products.Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Proficiency with RF scanners and sit-down forklifts.Order picking and general labor skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.Good interpersonal skills.Entry-level position with 0-2 years of experience preferred.Warehouse experience is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on a rotating day shift schedule from 6am to 6pm. The initial schedule starts from Sunday to Wednesday, with Thursday to Saturday off, then returns from Sunday to Tuesday with Wednesday off. The role is entry-level and designed for those with good interpersonal skills, preferably with some warehouse experience. Protective gear is provided to ensure safety, and the work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and the ability to handle various logistics tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
