Job Title: General Production and Forklift Operator - 23/hr - Start ASAP

Job Description

The role of a General Production Worker involves a variety of tasks essential for maintaining the flow of goods and materials. The individual will be responsible for order picking, replenishing stock, wrapping pallets, labeling, and loading trucks throughout their shift. Utilizing an internal ERP system, they will learn to load RF scanners with correct orders. The job requires entering order numbers into a scan gun based on a pick sheet provided by a supervisor, which will indicate the number of picks in specific locations and the number of items to pick. The training process is detailed to ensure proficiency in handling multiple units in a package.

Responsibilities

Assist with receipt, transfer, and storage of incoming freight.Pick and prepare shipments for the Building Materials Division.Unload incoming freight, verify products against packing lists, and sort materials by destination.Use fork trucks and order-picking equipment to load outbound transfer trucks.Accurately pull customer orders and prepare materials for shipment.Secure and label products for delivery.Transfer picked orders to staging areas according to the delivery schedule.Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Skills

1+ year of warehouse experience.1+ year of forklift experience.Ability to lift 75 lbs. and consistently manage 50 lbs.Willingness to work 50 hours a week.Capability to work efficiently and accurately.Strong motivation and enthusiasm.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF scanners and order picking.Familiarity with material handling and staging.Proficiency in using pick sheets and reach trucks.Knowledge of palletizing and labeling.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $49920.00/yr.
