**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator and Material Handler for a position in New Stanton. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift and performing general warehouse duties. Work hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am or 8am and concluding at 4pm, with opportunities for overtime. **Responsibilities** + Adhere to company safety policies. + Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, and by hand as needed. + Safely climb in and out of trailers. + Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally). + Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies, such as pallets, straps, and rope. + Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slippery. + Verify and complete required documentation and reports. + Engage in frequent contact with service center personnel in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. + Safely work in adverse weather conditions. + Ensure prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in shipping and receiving. + Material handling expertise. + Forklift operation skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Dockworker experience is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company with three locations, where you will find a supportive work environment that values employee well-being and growth. **Work Environment** The role is based in a clean warehouse facility with a focus on safety and efficiency.
