Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Operator to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, staging materials for production and shipment, and assisting with general labor and manufacturing tasks as needed.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials.Stage materials for production and shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Assist with loading and unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of shipments and orders.Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording the location of inventory.Perform general labor tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning, organizing, and assisting in manufacturing processes.Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.Essential SkillsProven experience as a forklift operator, with certification preferred.Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.Basic understanding of warehouse and inventory management procedures.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to assist with various tasks as needed.Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility where you will engage in hands-on tasks. You'll be working with industrial equipment such as forklifts, and collaborating closely with your team to ensure smooth production and shipping processes.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
