Our client,in the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Forklift operators to join their team.. The ideal candidate will have Attention to detail, team collaboration and adaptability which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:Forklift operator**
**Location: Piedmont SC**
**Pay Range: $19.55 - $23**
**What’s the Job?**
Max of 5
+ **Operate Equipment** : Safely operate forklifts and other equipment necessary for producing automotive parts, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
+ **Load and Unload Parts** : Efficiently load and unload individual automotive stampings from production lines and cells, using both manual and robotic systems.
+ **Inspect and Document** : Inspect parts for quality, properly load them into containers for storage and shipment, and produce required documentation, including tagging and labeling.
+ **Apply Welds and Adhesives** : Use manual and robotic systems to apply welds, adhesives, and other process-related tasks to piece parts and assemblies.
+ **Assist in Equipment Adjustments** : Help with equipment change outs and adjustments in all production areas to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.
**What’s Needed?**
Max of 5
+ **High School Diploma or GED** : A basic educational qualification is required to ensure the candidate has foundational knowledge and skills.
+ **Forklift Experience** : 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift, preferably in a manufacturing environment, to ensure proficiency in handling equipment safely and efficiently.
+ **Manufacturing Experience** : At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting to understand the production processes and quality standards.
+ **Ability to Follow Instructions** : The ability to follow work instructions to ensure QS9000 standards are met, which is crucial for maintaining quality and safety.
+ **Physical Capability** : The physical ability to load and unload parts, assist in equipment change outs, and perform other duties as required in a fast-paced environment
