We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in machine operation and metal fabrication, particularly within the aerospace industry. The role involves operating machinery such as band saws and sit-down forklifts, ensuring high-quality material processing, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

ResponsibilitiesOperate band saws for cutting steel and other materials, ensuring precise measurements and quality cuts.Drive and manage sit-down forklifts to transport and organize materials within the facility.Conduct visual quality control to ensure all products meet specified standards.Read and interpret tape measures accurately for precise material processing.Apply metal to customer orders and process materials according to work order specifications.Maintain equipment and processing area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.Complete all required information entry accurately and promptly.Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency.Essential SkillsExperience using band saws for cutting steel.Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.Ability to read and interpret tape measures accurately.Attention to detail and good paperwork management.Strong attendance and work history with a focus on tenure.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working in a warehouse environment.Ability to learn and operate aluminum saws for cuts ranging from 4' to 20' long.Capability to handle materials from .019 to 10\" thickness.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a large raw material supplier facility that is fast-paced and dynamic, with over 60 employees on the floor. The environment includes operating machinery and working on your feet, with shifts available across various schedules. Our facility is located in Auburn, WA, offering both 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options with competitive pay rates and additional shift differentials for full-time employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
