Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with traditional stand-up or sit-down forklifts, as well as the ability to scan inventory in and out using a scanner and a computer system. Handling pallets, including stacking, loading, unloading, and staging, is a key part of this role.

ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down or traditional stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment.Scan inventory in and out using a scanner and a computer system.Handle pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging.Utilize electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.Assist with inventory management, shipping, and receiving tasks as needed.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift.Proficiency in using scanners and computer systems for inventory management.Experience in handling pallets and material handling equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift certification is preferred.Experience with inventory management is a plus.Skills in shipping and receiving are advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position operates on a first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment involves spending 75% of the day on a forklift, moving pallets and staging orders in a dynamic warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayonne, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
