**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Order Selector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Order Selector to join our team. This role requires a physically capable individual with experience in material handling and order selection. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and ensuring the accurate and efficient selection of products. **Responsibilities** + Select stock to fill customer orders. + Read order requirements and shelf locations. + Ensure order accuracy while meeting productivity goals. + Build and prepare pallets for shipping. + Safely operate equipment required to pick stock from shelves. + Work with team members and supervisors to ensure coordination of work. + Perform additional job duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of sitdown/standup forklift experience. + Minimum 6 months of order selecting experience. + Ability to lift a minimum of 50-100 lbs. + Experience with material handling, pallet jack, unloading, shipping, and receiving. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Experience using RF scanner. **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge and enhance your resume with longevity. During the summer months, fans and open bay doors help maintain a comfortable atmosphere. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Steel toed boots are required but not provided. Reliable transportation is necessary as the location is not on a bus line. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
