Company in east Houston is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support the day-to-day duties. The operator will manage all forklifts used on-site, including large forklifts moving heavy products and equipment. This role is critical to safe and efficient yard operations, material handling, and support of manufacturing activities. The position involves operating yard forklifts designed to transport & haul large – diameter and/or long – length pipe. ResponsibilitiesObtain forklift certification and maintain complianceTransport full-length pipe and other materials within the yard, including loading/unloading trucks and moving products indoors and outdoorsPerform required preventative maintenance on forkliftsMaintain pipe storage racks and material organizationSupport manufacturing operations by moving product to required locationsAssist with rig prep and return operations as requiredRespond to on-call assignmentsFollow safety program requirements and company safety protocolsComplete other duties as assignedTools, Equipment, and MachinesOperate forklifts of various sizesUse applicable inspection and test equipment as designated by company work instructionsQualifications and RequirementsHigh School Graduate, GED, or equivalent trade school experienceMinimum 2 years of industry experience; 3–5 years preferred for Category IV or higher operationsAbility to perform job duties effectively within 90 days of hireStrong understanding of workplace safety, quality standards, and material handling proceduresReliable transportation and stable work historyTrainingCompany safety trainingRequired reading list for management system familiarizationCompany quality indoctrinationFormal training on work instructions and industry standards per training matrixBenefits and PerksCompetitive pay based on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceWeekly pay via direct deposit or pay card401(k) eligibilityLong-term career growth and stabilityYour New Organization
