**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Join a global leader in food & beverage ingredients as a Forklift Operator at our brand new warehouse in Mickleton, NJ. Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with flexibility required to work 9am-6:30pm when needed. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit down forklifts efficiently and safely. + Pick and stage orders accurately using RF scanning equipment. + Manage pick ticket orders and pull warehouse items based on specifications. + Ensure accuracy of orders and stage items correctly for delivery. + Read incoming order requests and adhere to company quality and customer service standards. + Inspect and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment. + Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace. + Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods. + Perform other duties as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts. + Proficient in math and detail oriented. + Strong understanding of OSHA regulations. + High regard for workplace safety. + Able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with various material-handling equipment. + Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements. **Why Work Here?** Experience working in a brand new warehouse with potential for growth after the contract period. The warehouse specializes in spices and coconut water, so you must be comfortable with a spice aroma. The facility is not temperature controlled, and the dress code includes steel toe boots and work pants with a top (long or short sleeve) without graphics or writing; no sweatshirts, hoods, or strings are allowed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mickleton, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
