**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Seeking a skilled forklift operator with 1-2 years of experience in either traditional stand-up or sit-down forklifts within a warehouse setting. The role involves scanning inventory in and out using a scanner and computer system, and handling pallets through stacking, loading, unloading, and staging. **Responsibilities** + Operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts in a warehouse environment. + Use scanners and computer systems for inventory management. + Handle pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging them. + Utilize electric pallet jacks for material handling. + Manage inventory and shipping tasks efficiently. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down or traditional stand-up forklift. + Proficiency in using scanners and computer systems for inventory. + Experience in handling pallets and material management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift certification is preferred (traditional stand-up or sit-down). + Basic computer skills are required. + Inventory experience is a plus. + Shipping and receiving skills are advantageous. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance, providing room for growth and stability within a dynamic work environment. **Work Environment** The position is based in Bayonne, NJ with open roles on the first shift (Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm) and the second shift (Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm).
