Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Our warehouse specializes in handling and shipping various products, and we are looking for skilled individuals to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down, propane-powered forklift to pick and scan orders in the warehouse.Load and unload trucks with products, using RF scan guns to place items in the appropriate warehouse locations.Customize orders by stacking them on pallets and preparing them for shipment, following specific customer requests.Perform quality control and rework on damaged orders in collaboration with on-site team members.Assist with the general cleaning and sanitation of the warehouse as needed.Perform maintenance tasks related to facilities and occasionally assist with forklift maintenance.Essential Skills
Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.Proficiency in using RF scanners and handling inventory.Skills in loading, unloading, and material handling.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
