Forklift Operator
**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. This position involves loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying outbound and inbound shipments, and assisting with inventory management activities. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload outbound and inbound trailers, preparing proper documentation. + Support production activities by staging production materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production. + Ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments by performing accurate product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting. + Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse. + Stock shelves efficiently. + Assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS/FedEx shipments. + Perform daily equipment checks. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklift operation, picking, packing, and general labor. + Proficiency in material handling, unloading, shipping and receiving, and production. + Strong ability in order picking, heavy lifting, loading, and warehouse packing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + One year experience in warehouse or manufacturing. + Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other equipment needed to move material. + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. + Capability to work with hay and hay-based products. + Physical ability to lift 65 pounds, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and stand for extended periods. + Adaptability to work in extreme heat and/or cold conditions as weather dictates. + Flexible schedule with some weekend hours. + Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in understanding and following written and verbal instructions in English. **Why Work Here?** Employees with perfect attendance over six months have the chance to enter a drawing to receive a bonus of $10K, $5K, or $3K, and those with six months of perfect attendance receive $300. There is potential for promotion to work coach or management positions and the opportunity to become a direct hire after just three months. **Work Environment** The work environment involves handling hay or grass, so the ability to work without grass allergies is important. There are two shifts available: Monday to Friday, first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, or Monday to Thursday, first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
