Forklift Operator
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in medical technology, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting production and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Forklift Operator **Location:** Covington, GA **Pay Range:** $17.75 **Shift:** Days (11:00 AM - 2:30 PM) **What's the Job?** + Retrieve finished good pallets from production lines, wrap and store in pending lot release area. + Operate manual pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently throughout the warehouse. + Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash and cardboard bins and sweeping floors. + Coordinate with forklift drivers to move components and materials as needed. + Assist in daily cleaning and organization of the kitting area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience. + Ability to operate a manual pallet jack safely and effectively. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion. + Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and moving mechanical parts. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. + Consistent daytime schedule with overtime opportunities. + Engagement in meaningful work supporting global health initiatives. + Potential for growth within a leading organization in the medical technology industry. + Workplace safety and health are prioritized to ensure a positive experience.
