Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the inbound, outbound, and inventory movement teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $19/hr

Shift: Night shift 8p - 6a

What's the Job?

Operate cherry picker, reach truck, or turret truck (Crown lifts) to load and unload products safely and efficiently. Process customer orders by scanning bar codes, picking, labeling, and packing items accurately. Build pallets, re-palletize products, and manage shipment packaging with precision. Utilize RF technology and WMS to ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following SOP and safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

High School diploma, GED, or 2 years of relevant experience. Experience operating material handling equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, and turret trucks. Ability to obtain forklift certification in accordance with company guidelines. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and perform basic calculations.
