**Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a forklift operator, you will be instrumental in the production of quality snack foods, known for being free of the top 9 most common allergens. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials using stand-up forklifts. Your role will also involve labeling and sorting shipments, relocating items within the warehouse with RF scanners, and tracking inventory. Additionally, you will carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload materials using stand-up forklifts. + Pack and unpack materials in the warehouse. + Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. + Relocate items within the warehouse or factory using RF scanners. + Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items. + Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of forklift experience, especially with stand-up forklifts. + Experience in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in inventory tracking, picking, packing, loading, and unloading. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Familiarity with RF scanners. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + GMP experience preferred but not required. + Experienced forklift operators with 2+ years at the same company are ideal. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company experiencing significant growth, offering numerous opportunities for career advancement. The workplace requires GMP attire, including a hair net, beard net, smock, steel-toed boots, and a hard hat. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskego, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
