Forklift OperatorPay: $23/HourLocation: Sumner, WAShift: 7AM-3:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators for three openings on the 7am-3:30pm shift. This is an active role requiring expertise in operating stand-up forklifts with minimal training. Candidates will engage in a mix of forklift operation and manual tasks, including loading and unloading freight.

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently and safely.Unload and load freight from containers and perform quality checks on products.Palletize products accurately and maintain inventory records.Lift 50-75 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 120 lbs. with assistance.Utilize RF scanners to cross-reference and ensure accuracy.Participate in the initial offloading process to understand the supply chain.Handle a mix of inbound and outbound roles, with a focus on the forklift operation and manual tasks.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 6 months of 'Stand Up' forklift experience.Cross Dock experience in warehousing.Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly.Attention to detail in reading numbers.Willingness to manually load and unload trucks throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Crown Electric standup loader/cherry picker/stand up reach forklift is preferred.Experience with various styles of sit-down forklifts is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic expeditors warehouse with medium-sized teams (10+ employees). The environment involves forklifts constantly moving throughout the facility, in and out of containers, and involves hand stacking tasks. The warehouse setup includes product stacked in the middle and dock doors surrounding the outer perimeter.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
