**Job Title: Forklift Operator** Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. You will sort freight according to size and destination, ensuring efficient movement and tracing processes. Additionally, you will reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests, and label, weigh, and dimension freight. Safety and cleanliness are paramount, and you will be responsible for performing cleanup activities in the work area. Reporting damaged shipments and misrouted freight will also be part of your duties. Responsibilities + Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. + Sort freight according to size and destination. + Read, decode, and decipher freight coding for expedited freight movement. + Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests. + Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight. + Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock. + Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports. Essential Skills + Experience in forklift operation. + Proficiency in material handling. + Inventory management skills. Work Environment Work shifts include Sun-Wed 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm, 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 2:30am, and 3rd shift from 10:00pm to 8:30am. Wed-Sat shifts follow the same schedule, while Fri-Mon shifts are from 6:00am to 6:30pm. The facility is designed to promote safety and efficiency in operations. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $24.25/hr.
