Job Title: Warehouse Receiving/Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Warehouse Picker and Packer is responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and processing single and multiple line orders. This role involves handling ready-ship items and managing orders. Additionally, the position requires loading outbound trailers using a brick-method of stacking and handling LTL items.

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $18/hour (with room for growth)

Responsibilities

Pick and process pick/pack, speed picks, and ready ship products using portable RF scanner, placing non-conformable products in designated areas for pick-up.Maintain conveyor flow by keeping conveyors and sensors clear.Pack boxes securely using bubble wrap or other packing materials.Inspect boxes and products for visible damage before shipment, ensuring proper size and fit, including over-packing fragile items with bubble bags.Manually load trailers in the freight area, correctly verifying and matching shipping labels to carrier trucks.Notify management of any issues with boxes or situations to ensure swift resolution.Maintain supplies for the area, including filling the bubble machine media and making or requesting additional boxes.Un-box and prep units for technicians, installing basic hardware components into customer systems.Re-box and prepare boxes for shipment.Utilize a forklift or pallet-jack to move products throughout the warehouse/department.Maintain minimum monthly productivity levels.Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service through exceptional quality standards and order responsiveness.Communicate issues concerning customer orders to the area Help Desk or Supervisor.Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.Keep the work area organized through daily cleaning and removal of garbage and pallet jacks.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.6+ months of warehouse experience.High School Diploma.Analytical skills and ability to solve problems.Ability to quickly learn new technology.Mechanical inclination for assembling and disassembling computer equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with palletizing, packing, quality checking, and inspection.Warehouse inventory management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
