**Job Title: Forklift Operator** Job Description We are looking for an experienced forklift operator who will spend 70% of their time operating a reach truck. The candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and will be responsible for loading materials into trucks and securing products with straps. Responsibilities + Operate a reach truck forklift effectively for 70% of work hours. + Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. + Load materials into trucks and secure them using straps. + Put away building products efficiently. + Replenish stock and manage inventory levels. + Empty containers of products and organize them in the facility. + Perform typical pick and pack duties. + Unload and load trucks with products. Essential Skills + Proficiency in operating forklifts, including reach truck and sit-down counterbalance forklifts. + Material handling expertise. + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-5 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts. + Experience in loading and unloading materials. Work Environment Work in a spacious 250,000 sq. foot facility located in Perryman, Maryland. The position is for the 2nd shift, which operates from 12:00pm to 8:45pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perryman, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
