Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

Each morning, start your day with a safety briefing and warm-up exercises. Check the board for daily orders, and then operate a sit-down forklift to pick parts throughout the warehouse using a labeling system and RF scan gun. You will handle oversized products, including equipment tires and animal nutrients, and load and unload production onto truck beds. You must be able to lift up to 65lbs occasionally. Work closely with your supervisor to address any task concerns, accurately sort, label, and store picked products safely in containers or on pallets, and maintain a clean work area.

Work Environment

Join a huge, fast-paced warehouse in Cedar Falls, Iowa, serving diverse industries including food and beverage, agricultural, and automotive. The environment can be hot in summer, cold in winter, and dusty due to animal feed. Shifts are available across different times, including first, second, and third shifts, as well as weekend options. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans or khaki/tan/denim shorts, and a t-shirt or long sleeve.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
