Our client, a leading player in the logistics industry, is seeking several Forklift Operators to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting efficient material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Operators
**Location:** Middletown, NY
**Pay Range: $20.80/hr**
**Shift:** 2nd Shift- Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm
3rd Shift- Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am
**What's the Job?**
+ Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers ensuring proper placement and securement.
+ Utilize RF scanners and other tools to track inventory, manage stock rotation, and maintain accurate records.
+ Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and perform routine equipment checks.
+ Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform minor maintenance tasks.
+ Assist with general warehouse tasks, such as organizing storage areas, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1-2 yrs of past experience in warehouse setting
+ Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
+ Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
+ Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
