Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to join our team in Hazleton, where we manufacture frozen dough. This role involves operating forklifts in a cold storage environment across various shifts. Successful candidates will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trucks using RF scanners.

ResponsibilitiesOperate stand-up forklifts and RC models efficiently.Load and unload trucks using RF scanners.Ensure safe handling and storage of goods within the freezer environment.Adhere to all safety protocols during operations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.Essential SkillsProven experience in operating stand-up forklifts.Ability to work in a freezer environment (-10 degrees) with breaks every 40-45 minutes.Proficiency in using RF scanners for loading tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as an order selector is advantageous.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.Potential for growth into leadership roles.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily within a freezer, consistently maintained at -10 degrees. Employees will rotate in and out of the freezer every 45 minutes to ensure comfort. All necessary cold gear will be provided to ensure safety and warmth. The role includes first, second, and third shift options, with work on alternate Saturdays and a day off during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HAZLE TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
