Job Description
Operate electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to efficiently move products, equipment, and materials. Adhere to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesWrite the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of cases on every order, box, pallet, package, and bin pulled.Report any discrepancies or bad tickets immediately to the appropriate leader.Pull all orders in a timely manner and assist in running freight and locating products.Report broken pallets to the supervisor.Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets.Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and ensure material handling equipment is left at the proper charging station.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating forklifts, including high reach forklifts.Experience in order picking, loading, and unloading trucks.Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating turret or high reach forklifts is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a cold environment, transitioning between the fridge and freezer areas. Proper attire, such as non-slip boots and warm jackets, is required. Shifts vary, with options for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, offering flexibility in working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
