**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to join our team for the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of some weekend work. The role involves warehousing work in a manufacturing or distribution setting, where you will handle products and parts for customers onsite.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklifts to move products and parts efficiently and safely.
+ Manage and interpret work orders according to customer expectations.
+ Perform cycle counting and inventory control tasks.
+ Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Utilize handheld devices for inventory management and work orders.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
+ Experience in inventory control and familiarity with handheld devices.
+ Ability to read and interpret work orders accurately.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with pallet jacks and reach trucks.
+ Competence in shipping and receiving processes.
+ Skill in packing and packaging.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a warehouse setting where you will operate forklifts and other machinery such as pallet jacks and reach trucks. The role requires standing up for long periods and involves moving heavy items. The dress code is appropriate for warehouse operations.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
