**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to join our team for the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of some weekend work. The role involves warehousing work in a manufacturing or distribution setting, where you will handle products and parts for customers onsite. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts to move products and parts efficiently and safely. + Manage and interpret work orders according to customer expectations. + Perform cycle counting and inventory control tasks. + Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds. + Utilize handheld devices for inventory management and work orders. **Essential Skills** + Proven forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. + Experience in inventory control and familiarity with handheld devices. + Ability to read and interpret work orders accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with pallet jacks and reach trucks. + Competence in shipping and receiving processes. + Skill in packing and packaging. **Work Environment** The work environment is a warehouse setting where you will operate forklifts and other machinery such as pallet jacks and reach trucks. The role requires standing up for long periods and involves moving heavy items.
