Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of a dynamic warehouse environment supporting a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Operator
**Location:** Henrico, VA
**Pay Range:** $21/hr with shift differential
**Shift:** First shift - Mon-Fri 7am – 3:30pm; Second shift – Mon-Fri 3pm - 11:30pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
+ Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
+ Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
+ Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
+ Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, reporting variances as necessary.
**What's Needed?**
+ Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
+ Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
+ Six months forklift operation experience.
+ Experience with pallet jacks, sit down, reach, and OP equipment.
