Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be operating forklifts to handle raw materials and finished goods efficiently and safely.

ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to unload raw materials from incoming trucks and place them in designated areas.Check the count of incoming raw materials to ensure accuracy.Load trucks with the proper raw materials and finished goods, verifying the amounts during loading.Operate stand-up, propane, and electric forklifts in a high-paced, stressful environment.Supply bottles to production lines as needed.Perform daily checks on forklifts for oil, water, etc., and replenish as necessary.Engage in additional driving activities as directed by supervision.Represent the company positively at all times.Adhere to company policies and safety requirements.Work overtime when needed.Clean work areas at the end of each shift.Understand SQF and take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issues.Show aptitude and ability to potentially work in the office.Essential SkillsExperience in forklift operating, including stand-up, propane, and electric forklifts.Basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry.Forklift certification.Ability to read and write in English.Knowledge of warehouse material handling, loading, and unloading.Additional Skills & QualificationsCapability to operate VNA.Ability to lift and move items weighing more than 60 pounds occasionally.Why Work Here?

The work environment is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability to varying conditions. You'll be using RF scanners and reach trucks to perform your duties effectively.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
