Job Description
The primary role of a forklift operator is to expertly handle industrial trucks or machinery within a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar environment. You will be responsible for safely operating heavy machinery to move product loads efficiently throughout the facility.
ResponsibilitiesInspect product loads for accuracy and safely transport them within the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Operate vehicle controls to drive and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Manipulate levers and controls to operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.Load and unload materials manually or mechanically from pallets, skids, and boxes, securing them for transport to designated areas.Essential SkillsStrong verbal communication skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work well in a team environment.Problem-solving skills.Basic understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing and distribution.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Forklift operator's license required.0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed.Steel Toe Boots required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates during the 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The role requires wearing Steel Toe Boots and involves working in a fast-paced, industrial setting with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.82 - $19.82/hr.
