\n\t\t\t\t\tA heavy forklift operator is responsible for managing industrial trucks to move materials around a worksite. Here are some key duties and responsibilities:\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nOperating Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to transport heavy goods around the facility or worksite.\nLoading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and containers.\nMaterial Handling: Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.\nSafety Inspections: Inspect forklifts for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues or damages.\nInventory Management: Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.\nEquipment Maintenance: Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the forklift’s battery and lubricating equipment.\nRecord Keeping: Record daily production logs and equipment inspection reports.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
