**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a certified Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support our internal material relocations initiative. This role involves safely and efficiently moving materials and items within our facility, and is critical to maintaining workflow and supporting internal logistics during a period of reorganization. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility. + Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas. + Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. + Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling. **Essential Skills** + Valid forklift operator certification. + Valid driver's license. + Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting. + Strong attention to safety and detail. + Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment. + Good communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + DMV report (checkpoints). **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, vision, dental, and opportunities for overtime. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 6 PM. The contract is for two months but may extend to three months. Training will be provided and the role involves physical work, including lifting heavy items. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
