Forklift Operator
**Forklift/Material Handler** **Job Description** The position of Material Handler involves transporting products between facilities in the South Park area of Seattle and assisting the Material Handling team with material requisitions. This fast-paced role requires retrieving and delivering products with high accuracy and efficiency. The role demands strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. **Responsibilities** + Assist in loading and unloading products using pallet jacks and forklifts. + Backfill other team activities, including material requisition and receiving. + Work efficiently and productively without direct supervision. + Use computers and tablets to log warehouse movements. + Pull orders, scan products using a tablet, and ensure SKU accuracy. + Unload and load trucks and forklifts, assisting at nearby warehouses when needed. + Maintain productivity during slow periods and hustle during busy times. **Essential Skills** + Experience in material handling, picking, and packing. + Proficiency in operating forklifts. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Knowledge of basic warehouse and receiving processes. + Ability to work at a fast pace, standing all day. + Self-motivated and able to work independently. + Detail-oriented and organized. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. + Proficient use of hand trucks and pallet jacks. + Basic math skills and high attention to detail. + Professional demeanor with co-workers, suppliers, and customers. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO, paid holidays, life insurance, and a 401k with up to 4% match.
