Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse team supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Operator
**Location:** Northumberland, PA
**Pay Range:**
**What's the Job?**
+ Responsible for the daily movement of doors/materials through the production process including picking, staging of raw material and moving work in process (WIP) from department to department.
+ Coordinate routing through departments based on specifications and process flow.
+ Transport doors and stage them in the next step of the process based on door identification.
+ Organize and optimize space in limited areas throughout the plant.
+ Regularly communicate with all affected departments and follow safety and process procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 1+ year forklift experience preferred.
+ Forklift certification required.
+ Ability to read and interpret production reports.
+ Must be able to prioritize effectively and quickly.
